Bringing the Science to Staffing

| In New Franchises |

Staffing, like science, is filled with trial and error, formulas and equations. If anyone can execute the science of staffing, it is safe to bet that Michael and Kendra Branton will be able to because of their background.

As Michael and Kendra open the doors to three Express Employment Professionals offices in Long Beach, CA, they bring their backgrounds in engineering, operations, and ownership. Both attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, where Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology while Kendra graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (Mechanical Industrial).

Between the two, they have held a variety of engineering and operations positions in global and U.S. based corporations. Their work took them through California, Illinois, and Singapore.

As the Brantons follow the scientific formula for staffing Express has developed, the community will benefit from Michael and Kendra’s community involvement. Michael is a founding board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County, Illinois and is the President of the National Society of Black Engineers, Alumni Extension President. Michael also completed the LEAN training of the Six Sigma Green Belt. Meanwhile, Kendra has served as a member of the startup team of the Boys & Girls Club, and as a member of its Board of Directors. Kendra used her business acumen in her involvement by serving as a mentor for EmpowHer and as a youth business plan competition coach for Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
